Hi, I'm Aleyna.
I’m a Product Designer with a psychology background who is passionate about becoming an expert in the users, systems, and contexts I design for. I will continue at KU this fall to earn my M.A. in Interaction & UX Design!
As part of the first cohort in the University of Kansas’s undergrad Interaction Design program, I’ve had the unique opportunity to build a multidisciplinary skill set spanning graphic design and UX/UI. Paired with a psychology minor, my design approach is grounded in human behavior, empathy, and intentionality. I’m also super curious about AI and emerging tools, and I regularly experiment with new technologies that expand what’s possible in the product design process and products themselves.
I’m a natural problem solver with a creative, systems-oriented mindset. I enjoy tackling complex problems that require zooming between big-picture strategy and fine-grained interaction details—especially in ambiguous spaces that require digging beneath the surface.
Outside of design, you’ll usually find me weight lifting, rock climbing, traveling abroad, playing with AI tools, being a music nerd, or getting crafty with DIY projects!
